Assistant Professor of Philosophy

JOB DESCRIPTION
The University of Dallas Colleges of Constantin and Braniff invite applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of assistant professor. The position begins in Fall 2026.
The area of specialization is Medieval Metaphysics (broadly construed) or Modern Philosophy. The area of concentration is the History of Western Philosophy. A Ph.D. is required prior to appointment. The teaching load is 3/3.
A candidate should satisfy the following three broad requirements: (1) The candidate shares our commitment to the recovery and renewal of the Western heritage of liberal education and the Catholic intellectual tradition. (2) The candidate is adequately prepared to teach in our B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. programs, and in the philosophy portion of the undergraduate core curriculum. (3) The candidate articulates how his or her research interests contribute to the search for philosophic wisdom.
