TT Assistant Professor - Philosophy of Mind

LOYOLA MARYMOUNT UNIVERSITY, Los Angeles, California. Assistant Professor, tenure-track, beginning Fall 2025. 2/2, 2/3 course load over two years. Undergraduate and M.A.-level teaching. AOS: Philosophy of Mind. AOC: Open. PhD required; exceptional ABD applications who anticipate completion of the doctorate by Fall 2025 will be considered. Salary competitive.
As a pluralistic department that values and respects a diverse range of philosophical approaches, we seek applicants who embrace this vision and who will contribute to the Catholic tradition of philosophical inquiry. Our department is at the center of a Catholic university whose mission is inspired and guided by the traditions of the Jesuits and the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary. We are seeking to hire a dedicated teacher-scholar who will contribute to the department’s goal of helping students of all backgrounds to become critical and reflective thinkers.
